Work Weekend!

Team!  Alumni!  Affiliates!

In an effort to make the most of our prep-time for Nationals, I’ll be hosting a mock tournament on 3/29 (Saturday) – on campus.

Tournament will be run in 4 rounds, each contestant may be DE in a round to show all events going to nationals.  Tournament dress is optional, of course.  Rounds will be held at 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, and 1:30, with lunch provided at 12:30.  Please arrive and compete in a timely fashion.

Any student that is in town is expected (read: required) to attend.  Waste not, want not.

EvenWithTheFlu

The Champion.  “Even with the flu.”

Alums!  Friends/husbands/coworkers of alums!  We need judges!  I’m guessing we’ll need at least 3 sections in each round.  I can judge one, who else is up?  Also, we can certainly double or triple up judges (more ballots = more better) in rounds, so don’t be shy!

I will be creating schematics for the mock tournament, which will be accessible from this website, and published at least 24 hours before the tournament begins!

Thanks!  Email me at voirola@gmail.com if you have any questions – or if you want to get added to the judging list!

Welcome to this episode of LIFE

So, team.

First:  CONGRATS!!!  So many happys from State!  I hope it was inspiring and invigorating for the weeks ahead…we’re about to put in WORK!

Here’s what’s what.  I was super sick at the end of last week, and missed a ton of work.  I will be making up that work time this week by adding on tons of hours to my regular work schedule.  I’ll literally be working 11 hour days.  Plus commute.

So.  I want you to know that while I *do* want to help with pre-nats prep…it ain’t gonna happen this week.

We’ll chat next week, folks.

ALSO:  Just as a standard for my coaching schedule: Sign up at minimum 24 hours in advance.  Sessions reserved within 24 hours may or may not be honored (I gots to have a plan for my life, kidlets).

Put on your BGP,

Amanda
